Konstantinos N. Athanassiadis was born in Eleftherochori, Kilkis, Macedonia, Greece in 1964.
He received the M.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics and the Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from the Belarusian State University of Minsk, Belarus, in 1990 and 1994, respectively.
Dr. K. Athanassiadis has R&D experience through collaborations with Metrology Institutes and Research Centers. He engaged in several research projects.
He currently collaborates with Hellenic Institute of Metrology (EIM) (from 2006) to improve the quality system of EIM. He is assessor of Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) for Laboratories (ISO 17025). He was Director of Dimensional Measurements Laboratory in the company C3T S.A.I.C. (1996-2001).
He has published more than 35 articles in international scientific journals and conference proceedings.
